MAPFRE participates in the 15th edition of ABGR

The largest Major Risks conference in Brazil is sponsored by MAPFRE, which will take part in panels on political risk and captive programs. The company is a leader in the sector, with a market share of 13%.

MAPFRE, one of the largest financial markets and insurance companies in the world, participates in another edition of Expo ABGR, the largest Major Risks conference in Brazil. The event, which is in its 15th edition in 2023, will be held on October 10 and 11 at the WTC Events Center in São Paulo. This year’s edition aims to bring together the industry’s main players and decision-makers, providing learning, networking, and business opportunities. MAPFRE currently leads the national ranking of insurers operating in the major risks sector, with a market share of 13%.

In addition to sponsoring the event, MAPFRE will have a booth where it will present its solutions for major risks, such as insurance for cyber risk, environmental risk, and political risk, among others. The company will also participate in themed panels.

On the first day of the event, at 3:00 p.m. (Brazil time), MAPFRE’s General Manager of Insurance, Mauro W. Caetano, will lead the panel “Political Risk: Impacts and Strategies for Businesses”.

On the second day, at 9:30 a.m., MAPFRE’s Superintendent of Industrial Risk, Bruna Rinaldi, will lead the panel on captive programs, addressing risk control and financing alternatives.

The 2023 edition promises to exceed expectations, following the success of the previous year. In 2022, the event featured 4,000 registrants, more than 35 sponsoring brands, 80 speakers, and 500 companies.

Expo ABGR brings together the main market players, including brokers, insurers, reinsurers, insurance defense and intelligence, consultancies, claims managers, educational institutions, technology players, as well as executives, associations, and risk engineers from the largest industries in Brazil.
